An addition to the chain of surf stores owned and operated by a family group.
Their new Baldivis Store had to look the part to co-inside with the brand new shopping complex.
The centre required all stores to be upmarket with quality finishes.
A design put together by Hames Sharley.
The clients had done a lot of research Australia wide and come to the table with what they would like the store to look like and its image.
The stone and glass shop front simply drew people in with its earthy yet sharp look.
As you enter the store, the clients wanted a little bit of extra ‘wow’ with a live fish tank built into the shop front entry, the store with bamboo floors in the window displays and raised bamboo floors to the rear change room area to keep the earthy tones in sync with the rest of the store.
A lot of ‘slatwall’ display to perimeter walls meant a lot of display and product space which was what the client required.
With well designed display units in the front area and rear of the store is evidence that a lot of thought and experience in retail spaces has gone into the design and store layout.
As in most cases in the industry, a 3 week time frame to have the custom built store open on time was met and a bonus/incentive put forward by the developer to complete the store meant the client received $50,000.00 towards fit-out costs.
