With a budget of $10 million plus project wide, this project had a very tight time frame executed over 2 stages whilst the casino and resort maintained full operation and security. From a large demolition contract the existing main entry was removed and a new expanded entry was created. Our contract involved working very close with Casino Management and Doric Management to complete a wide range of building tasks from constructing all walls, ceilings and various carpentry works along with staging and hoarding off construction site whilst maintaining full security.
With a lot of thought and detail required, we were able to work very closely and easily with the Design team, Casino personnel and Doric Management to effectively produce the results that were required and resolve outstanding matters that arose due to the fact that it was not only an extension/construction but it also entailed a very extensive renovation/alteration of the existing building
A lot of our work required off site manufacture combined with onsite installation which saw the construction of oval shaped recessed bulkheads, lighting troffs, circular sky lights, curved feature walls, bulkheads and so on.
With these works a new “Mesh bar”, gaming floor area, ticketec office, cloak room, new toilets and ofcourse the new main entry to the casino connecting the resort and gaming floor.
A result that at projects end saw a very happy client and all other parties involved.
