A small but exclusive boutique store in an upmarket area required the best finishes!
A space which required a minimal defit leaving old timber floors, brittle brick walls and existing roof structure.
Finlay went through and put all new ceilings and framed timber walls in front of existing brick walls, a full re-structure and build of the shops front entry and a new raised timber floor area to the rear of the store.
Once we got it back to a stage where we could start to apply the design and articulate finishes brought out by Susan Griffiths from Griffiths Design Group.
Existing Tasmanian Oak timber floors were painted black and polished. Colour back glass, wall papers and fabric panels were applied to the walls to give the store that contemporary feel.
The use of antique pendants and centre display unit gives the store a bit of old world charm.
The client was extremely happy with the result!
Along with the designer with the finished product that was designed and put together.
